Children's Portraits

CLICK ON the Child's picture to the right to enlarge. Now you can commission a portrait carving of your child. To do this you will need to gather up a few snap shots of your son or daughter, showing them from different angles. Then you choose a setting or scene, perhaps based on one of the pictures or some activity they enjoy. Tell me just how you would like it carved. I take care of the rest. The figure usually takes about four weeks to carve and can often be delivered to you in less than six weeks. Please allow me to quote a completion date as I may be booked ahead.

He saw my work in Lunenburg, while he was in Nova Scotia. His youngest daughter gave one of my fisherman caricatures a big hug. The whole family enjoyed my carvings.
He came back later to give me the photo of the girls on the beach and a few shots of them at different angles, then came to my studio to pick up the finished portrait.
